The faculty of Darshan (Philosophy) has been functioning as a very important branch of Bhartiya Darshan. In this faculty, the subjects like Nyaya Vaishashik, Sankhya Yoga, Advait Vedanta, Sarva Darshan, Mimansa,Vishitadvaita Vedanta are being taught to the students of shastri and acharya. In addition to this, various research works have been undertaken on each subject under the supervision of the members of the faculty. Various cultural programmes including drama & debate have also been undertaken. The teachers of the department actively participate in the workshops, seminars and symposium both at the state and national level. The teachers of this faculty have participated in different seminars related to Indian philosophy and have published articles in reputed journals. The faculty arranges Shastrarth on major themes from among the students under the guidance of the faculty. There are more than 250 students and research scholars in Darshan faculty.
