A-VIEW is an advanced multi-modal, multi-platform, collaborative e-learning solution which allows an instructor
to teach or interact with a large number of learners transcending geographies on a real-time basis through live audio video
streaming and synchronized content sharing.
The Consortium for Educational Communication popularly known as CEC is one of the Inter
University Centres set up by the University Grants Commission of India. It has been established with the goal of addressing
the needs of Higher Education through the use of powerful medium of Television alongwith the appropriate use of emerging
Information Communication Technology (ICT).
The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), a project funded by the Ministry of Human Resource
Development (MHRD) was first conceived in 1999 to pave the way for introducing multimedia and web technology to enhance learning of basic science
and engineering concepts. Significant infrastructure has been set up earlier for production of video-based teaching material by the Indian Institutes
of Technology (IIT) and Technical Teacher Training Institutes (TTTI). In the first phase of the NPTEL project (June 2003-June 2007), seven IITs and the
Indian Institute of Science (IISc) have worked together to develop web and video based material for basic undergraduate science and engineering courses
in order to enhance the reach and quality of technical education in the country

Here learner can choose from hundreds of courses , virtually every course that is taught at the university / college / school level
and these shall be offered by best of the teachers in India and elsewhere
An MHRD, under its National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT), has assigned work to the UGC for
development of e-content in 77 subjects at postgraduate level. The content and its
quality is the key component of education system.
