The Grievance Redressal Cells have been set up to observe the following general principles:

  1. The Campus Community should be made fully aware of the grievance redressal mechanism
  2. Every grievance from the student/staff should be registered and acknowledged
  3. As a matter of general rule no grievances should be pending beyond the limit of three months
  4. The Chairman & Mamber-Secretary of the respective Grievance Rdressal Cell should make himself/herself freely available to hear the grivances personally, at least once a week at fixed timings.


POWERS AND FUNCTIONS OF GRCS

  1. To entertain written and signed complaints and petitions of students/staff in respect of matters directly affecting them individually or as a group
  2. To enquire into the grievances, and make recommendations and report the concernd authoities-Vc,Academic Council & Executive Counmcil for redressal or suitable action
  3. To recommend appropriate action against complainant, if allegations made in the documents are foundto be baseless
