The Examination section of the University is responsible for organising the end-semester-examinations and entrance tests for admission to various academic courses. It also organises the evaluation of the performance of the students appeared in semester end examinations of various subjects/courses i.e. Shastri(BA), BA(Yoga), Shikshashastri(B.ed), Acharya(MA), MA(Yoga), Shikshacharya(M.ed), Vishitacharya(M.Phil), Vidyavaridhi(PhD) and Part time Post Graduate Diploma/ Diploma/ Certificate Courses.
Functions and Activities
Examination section is responsible for organising the evaluation of the performance of the students in semester end examinations as well as in internal assessment. As per the decision of the University, the semester end examinations are conducted twice a year in the month April/May and November/December respectively. The students, who fulfil the requirement of fulfilment of 75% of attendance in each semester, are issued the Admit Card for appearing in the semester end examination.
This section receives the awards of internal assessment from each faculty and arranges to incorporate the same in the record of the student concerned. For conduct of end-semester-examinations, this section prepares the date-sheet indicating the course/subject with the consent of Deans of the faculty for all the courses lunched by the University (regular as well as part time courses).
This section conducts the Viva-voce for the Research Scholars and issuing the notification for release of provisional certificate with the approval of the Research Council. This section is responsible for consolidating and declaring the results. The Statement of marks to the students appeared in the examinations as well as the verification of the certificates is to be issued by this section.
Examination section, with the coordination and help of each of the faculty/department arrange to set the question papers for all the subjects and conducts the examination smoothly. Based on the evaluation made by the various evaluators, the result is compiled and subsequently with the approval of the appropriate authorities, the examination result is declared.
This section is also responsible for the overall coordination of activities pertaining to annual convocation. The convocation of the students completed their courses is held every year to confer the degree, diplomas and certificate to the successful candidates.
